Fern Event Rentals has been catering to event furniture and production needs for various types of events, be it a lavish gala dinner or an intimate celebration. Their in-house designers, production crew and furniture consultants design and deliver event solutions around any concept or theme, bringing imagination to life. We got in touch with Mr. Manoj Kumar Choudhary, CEO of Fern Event Rentals regarding his company’s foray into the world of furniture and its association with the 6th Annual Destination Wedding Planners Congress which recently took place at the luxurious Atlantis, The Palm in the city of superlatives, Dubai.

Tell us about yourself and your incredible company. Where did it all start?

 

Fern Event Rentals was created after we found a vacuum in the local market for quality furniture and responsive service. The events industry is very dynamic and it needs constant upgrades along with 24×7 service. I have been keeping a close eye on the events market from the time of my corporate career and when we felt it was the right time – we launched Fern. And since then, we have been lucky to have gotten favorable responses from our clients.

What are the different kinds of rentals you provide and what events do you cater towards?

 

We specialize in production and furniture for the events industry. We have been working with wedding planners and event management companies, understanding their needs and offering them customized solutions in the given budgets. We can cater to gatherings from 10 to 10000 individuals.

How important is the venue when it comes to showcasing your furniture designs?

 

A venue is an important aspect of event décor and choosing the right venue is very crucial. While we do a recce of every area for the service aspects, the overall look of the venue always plays a pivotal role. By conducting a recce we can further suggest our clients of some better options whether it be outdoors, indoors, modern or traditional. The service and logistics can be largely addressed once we know the venue well.

What was your favorite piece that you curated for a special event?

 

Since we work around customization, we always have such instances where we create unique items for the event. For one of our client’s wedding we created a garden theme with our finely curated outdoor furniture. In another instance, for a local client we had crafted traditional Arabic themed furniture. For us every project is unique and we work hard to satisfy our clients needs.

How would you describe your experience of working as a furniture partner for the luxurious Destination Wedding Planners Congress 2019?

 

This is a wonderful platform that gives our company global exposure with unlimited opportunities to connect and network with the finest talents in the industry. There is a great learning from renowned names of our counterpart that hail from different parts of the world. The DWP Congress 2019 has provided us with great potential for business collaborations and we are sure of making the most of it!
