Vera Wang and Ladurée Collaborate On Wedding Desserts

A match made in dessert heaven!

In a unique collaboration, the queen of all things luxe bridal, Vera Wang teamed up with iconic French patisserie Ladurée to create a dreamy assortment of wedding delicacies. The dessert collection called Vera Wang Pour Ladurée is a one-of-a-kind designer-dessert partnership that takes inspiration from the American artist’s bridal aesthetics and pays tribute to her lifelong connection to Paris, home to Ladurée. Obviously, the range includes macarons, wedding cakes, and mini cakes, all flavored with coconut- the designer’s favourite ingredient. Her top picks from the collection are a signature coconut crème Chantilly macaron and a mango and coconut wedding cake.

Talking about her connection to the city of lights, Wang revealed to US Vogue, “among my most memorable and enchanting experiences in Paris has always been Ladurée, whether it was tea sandwiches, shopping with my mother, or taking my daughters for lunch in St Germain, Ladurée has always been a part of my Parisian experience,” Wang said. “I was thrilled to be able to collaborate with Elisabeth Holder, Heir & President of Ladurée US on designing a bespoke wedding cake inspired by one of my gowns.”

The limited-edition collection will be displayed in the windows of Ladurée’s Madison Avenue and SoHo New York City stores this January.
